Description
Definition of power engineering systems. Basics of simulation techniques (numerical integration, continuous and discontinuous simulation). Modelling of power semi-conductors in power conversion circuits. Processing of non-linear system equations of electromechanical energy transducers. Coupling of system components. Simulation of the fully controlled six-pulse bridge connection (B6), of the three-phase direct converter, of the converter-fed motor and of the sub-synchronous converter cascade (including triggering and closed-loop control).
