Potential Analysis
Potential analyses determine the extent to which energy or material resources are available for vital transformations, such as the energy transition, and how these will develop in the future. They are, therefore, an important input parameter for energy system analyses, as they provide information on the available supply of renewable energies.
There are different types of potential, each of which represents different limits to supply.
