The paper on electrical load profile anonymization was published in May in Applied Energy under the title
„Feature-conserving gradual anonymization of load profiles and the impact on battery storage systems“.
In this work, a method was developed to anonymize electrical load profiles. The anonymization is done by permutations of base and peak sequences and can be stronger or less strong depending on the user's preferences regarding various levels of anonymization. In addition, the impact of anonymization on various battery storage applications was investigated.
The method was converted into a Python tool, which is open-source at https://gitlab.lrz.de/open-ees-ses/loadpat.
