Development and optimization of a potential-controlled chromatography process

Proteins are industrially more important than ever and are among the top-selling pharmaceuticals. However, conventional purification has its problems and comes at high costs. Potential-controlled chromatography is to be investigated as an efficient and cheaper alternative method. For this purpose, the interactions of individual biomolecules with the stationary phase and the influence of electrical potential on the interaction are examined.
