From September 8–10, the “15th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE), 8th European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (ECAB), and 3rd Iberoamerican Congress on Chemical Engineering (CIBIQ)” took place in Lisbon, Portugal. At ECCE & ECAB, current research findings and industrial applications in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, and related disciplines are presented and discussed.

Our PhD students Garfield and Carina had the opportunity to present their research through poster presentations and to engage in scientific discussions with fellow researchers. Lucas presented his work in a flash talk. Professor Kremling also attended the conference as a participant.

The event not only provided exciting insights into various research topics but also offered many opportunities for productive scientific exchange.
