After a two year corona break, we are finally able to weclome a PREP student at our professorship! In the PREP program, students from partner universities of the TUM in North America are invited for a summer research stay at the TUM. We are delighted that Natalie Lapa of the University of Alberta supports us in the lab this summer. In the scope of Marleens OctoPus project, she studies the synthesis of the l-aspartate derivative ectoin in Pseudomonas putida. We wish Natalie a great time at the professorship!
