IEEE PESS 2025
The IEEE Power & Energy Student Summit (PESS) 2025 is a platform for students, researchers, and professionals to engage with current developments and challenges in electric power and energy systems.
We at the Chair of Electric Power Transmission and Distribution at the Technical University of Munich are proud to host this year’s conference and look forward to welcoming participants to Munich.
Organized by the IEEE PES Germany Chapter, the PESS fosters dialogue across all levels of experience — from early-career researchers to seasoned professionals. It offers opportunities to share original work, engage in technical discussions, and build networks across the power and energy community. Participation is free of charge for students submitting technical papers or posters.
Papers are peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. The summit features awards for outstanding contributions. Every participant receives a certificate of attendance.
