Registration for the HLU Student Seminar

• The HLU Student Seminar is a weekly meeting, typically held on Fridays, where students present the outcomes of their academic projects. These may include bachelor’s or master’s theses, research or industry internships, and scientific seminar work.
  
  There will be *NO* seminar on the following Fridays:
  
      October 2026:      09. 23.
      November 2026:  13.
      December 2026:   18. 25.
      January 2027:       08. 29.
      February 2027:     12. 19.
      March 2027:          05. 26.
   

• New Location in Winter term 2026 / 2027 : 
   Winter term 2026/2027: lecture hall HS N1179
   Winter term 2026/2027 - only at 26.02.2027: lecture hall HS N1080
   
• Starting Time:

  in the DFN-calendar during the booking process.
     Normally starting time: 13:30 
      
• Every student supervised by Professor Heldwein or one of his assistants is required to present the results of their project at the student seminar.
   

• Bachelor and Master thesis students are expected to give three presentations over the course of their thesis work:

    * an introductory presentation (5-10 minutes) and
    * an intermediate presentation (15 minutes) and
    * a final presentation (15 minutes).
  
  Participants are expected to strictly follow the presentation durations specified above. The presentation date should be decided jointly by the student and their supervisor.
   

• All other students are only required to give a final presentation.
