The table milling machine is a versatile woodworking machine which is also called a sub-milling machine. The milling spindle is usually centered in the machine table. In some machines, the table and spindle can be tilted up to 45°. The milling spindle is used to support the milling arbor with the milling tool, for longer milling arbors a top bearing must be used. The milling of the wood is done at the stop or thrust ring.
