Milling machines

A milling machine is a machine tool that uses rotating cutting tools to remove material from a workpiece in order to shape it into the desired form. In milling, three feed directions are available (X,Y,Z), which allows complex spatial bodies to be produced. The milling tool, which usually has several cutting edges, moves through the material and removes it by machining. Complex parts can be produced on milling machines, but also simple work such as drilling or reaming precise holes can be performed.
