CNC Mashines
CNC is the abbreviation for computerized numerical control and means machine control by built-in computer. A CNC machining center is a machine controlled by a CNC control. It can be used to perform several machining steps on a workpiece with one workpiece clamping, for example, milling, drilling or turning. In CNC machines, workpiece machining is performed by programmable tool movements. All tool and feed movements are controlled by the computer based on the data entered. CNC machines do not have conventional controls such as hand levers or hand wheels. As a rule, all functions are activated via the keyboard of a computer with a screen or display. CNC machines perform all operations without operator intervention. They have a high production accuracy as well as a high production speed and can be used flexibly. CNC machines are used to mill, drill or turn workpieces made of plastic, ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
