About Maximilian:
Maximilian Böckler completed his training as a Biological Laboratory Technician at Roche Diagnostics GmbH before studying Biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His Bachelor's thesis in the CPB lab focussed on the evaluation of optimized cytokine fusion proteins. During his MSc studies, he spent a research stay in Prof. Brodsky’s lab at the University of Pittsburgh. For his Master's thesis in the CPB lab, he characterized rationally engineered cytokine subunits. In June 2025, Maximilian joined the Munich Institute of Integrated Materials, Energy and Process Engineering (MEP) as a PhD student. In his PhD, he is now part of an interdisciplinary team that develops molecular and downstream platform technologies for next-generation biologics.
