I am developing convection-based stationary phases functionalized with affinity ligands for efficient downstream processing of biologics, with a particular focus on adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors.
My research includes the design and fabrication of membrane-based purification platforms, as well as their characterization and process optimization to enable high-performance biomolecule separation. In addition, the applicability of potential-controlled elution strategies for the purification of biologics is being investigated.
The overall goal is to develop innovative bioseparation technologies for applications in gene therapy and biopharmaceutical production.
