FORELMO

Electric mobility plays a global role for individual mobility, the reduction of pollution and the future structure of electrical power supplies. For the Bavarian economy this issues bring opportunities and challenges. The Bavarian Research Cooperation for Electric Mobility (FORELMO) is going to use the already existing research in Bavaria and industrial possibilities to develop new solutions in key components like the electrical motor, energy storage and power electronics. The focus is based on the complete electrical drive train. Work in FORELMO will help to increase safety, efficiency and economy of the electric drive train and its components and to optimize their interaction. In addition to the technical work of the research group, FORELMO aims to improve the connection between research skills in Bavaria.
